Who we are

Khao Yai Retreat is an independent, English-language travel information website about Khao Yai, Thailand. We write for international travellers – from Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe and beyond – who want to understand the area before they book, and especially for those looking for a pool villa resort in Khao Yai.

What we are not

We are not a hotel, resort or tour operator. We do not own, manage or represent any property mentioned on this website, we do not have an office in Khao Yai, and we do not take bookings or payments. When we mention a hotel or attraction, we link to its official website wherever one is available so you can contact it directly.

How we research and write

  • Official sources first. We base practical details – opening hours, entry fees, room types and facilities – on information published by the national park, the attraction or the property itself, and we name third-party sources when we rely on them.
  • No invented experiences. We do not claim to have stayed at a hotel or visited an attraction unless we actually have. We do not publish fake reviews, ratings or testimonials.
  • Clear recommendations. When we highlight a property as suitable for couples or families, that is an editorial judgement based on its published facilities, and we label it as such.
  • Regular updates. Each guide shows when it was last updated. Prices, schedules and policies change, so please confirm before you travel.

Advertising and affiliate policy

At present, Khao Yai Retreat does not include paid placements or affiliate links. If this changes, we will label commercial relationships clearly on the pages where they apply.

Corrections

If you spot something outdated or incorrect, please let us know through our contact page. We review corrections promptly.
